Empire State College Bookstore online is your place for official Empire State College textbooks. Financial Aid and 3rd Party accounts can only be used for course materials. Student ID number is required for textbook purchases in order to checkout. If you do not know your student ID number, you can check your registration confirmation or log in to MyESC at the top right of this page.

SUNY Empire State College is in the middle of a major renovation project at 111 West Ave. in Saratoga Springs, so the building is closed to the public.  Due to the construction, students wishing to pick up their books in person are to pick up book orders in the 113 West Ave Lobby until further notice.

If you would like to pick up your book order in person, please complete your book order online.  In the comments section, indicate that the books will be picked up in person.  After waiting at least an hour for the Bookstore to receive the order, send an email to bookstore@esc.edu to find out what time the books will be available for pick up at 113 West Ave.  Thank you for your patience.

Beginning Fall 2017, orders can no longer be placed by phone.  If you need assistance in placing your order online, you may call 800-847-3000 X2365.

eTextbook rentals through our new vendor RedShelf are available through the bookstore for some titles. Look for titles starting with "eTextbook". Please read the note attached to each title. Take notice that titles are only available for 180 day rentals. Also note that the refund policy is different for eTextbooks. eTextbooks can only be accessed by students in the US, and students on US military bases.
